What is in the Kit

The Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit is a product that should be on every active construction site where erosion and sediment control is required. The Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit is housed in a plastic tote which makes it very easy to store on site, ship to a site, and prevents it from getting wet. The Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit has everything you need to start treating dirty water, with a setup time of only 15 minutes! The Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit contains:

  • Three Tigerfloc flocculant Belts (placed inside Tube)
  • A Tigerfloc Tube with all fittings; and
  • One 15' x 15' Dewatering Bag

Setup

Having the Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit on site is a piece of mind knowing that within 15 minutes you can have a functional water treatment system set up able to successfully treat up to 100 gallons per minute of water prior to discharging it off site while remaining compliant with your local Municipality to avoid fines, getting shut down, or both. The Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit can be kept safely on site and never used if not needed. None of the contents have an expiry date, so you are able to take the kit to your next project and set it up there if required. When treating <1000 NTU water, one Tigerfloc Belt in the Floc Tube will usually suffice; however, if your turbidity is >1000 NTUs, we recommend inserting two Tigerfloc Belts into the Floc Tube. The Tigerfloc Belts can be attached to each other end-to-end using a zap strap (zip-tie).

A) Tigerfloc Tube: 84" (L) x 4" (W) Layflat hose secured with 2"-4" camlock fittings; with Tigerfloc Belts which are inserted individually or two at a time into the Tigerfloc Tube. B) 2" Pump Hose: min 50' length for optimal unit performance. C) Dewatering Bag: 15' x 15' size manufactured by Floc Systems Inc. The Dewatering Bags are custom cut and assembled with seam fold to ensure sediment material does not escape at the seam as it does with other dewatering bags.

Description

Description

The Tigerfloc Dewatering Bags are a micro-pored, custom made product meant to be durable and at the same time balance both the water flow rate and filtration of the dirty water passing through them.
Tigerfloc Dewatering Bags are 15' x 15' and can be purchased separately as needed on site.

Applications

Applications

The Tigerfloc Dewatering Bags are used in conjunction with the Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit for optimal performance. The Dewatering bags have proven useful in all soil types: sand, silts, and clays. The Dewatering Bag holds back sediment and over time swells up like a pillow and filters out most of the sediment from the discharge water.

Description

The Tigerfloc Tube is used in conjuction with the Tigerfloc Dewatering Kit, but can also be used separately when pumping untreated water over our Tigerfloc Belts. A Tigerfloc Belt (or two) can be inserted into a Tigerfloc Tube to recirculate turbid water from a sediment pond to accelerate particle deposition rates. Tigerfloc Tubes connect to 2" pump hose, and are 7' in length.
